Hey there! Here you’ll find cool shit about marketing & actionable insights.
Simple tools, resources, and frameworks to make you a better marketer.
TL;DR of today’s newsletter:
My approach to brainstorming content (from personal experience)
Three links of the week to supercharge your marketing
Let’s dive right in.
“I am all out of ideas!”
I actually just said this to myself before writing this headline.
I bet you’ve been there before. Being dry on ideas. We’ve all been there… right? right!? If you haven’t, pls airdrop me your brain algorithm.
After 12 weeks of writing this newsletter and roughly the same for writing down my thoughts every evening, I’ve noticed a pattern that helps me alleviate blanking out.
Here’s an idea-generating tip based on personal experience:
Write down EVERYTHING. Literally.
When I find myself staring at an empty screen, I start writing about random things. And by random, I mean anything.
It helps come up with new ideas.
Document your inner voice. Write down your thoughts without a filter.
Try and guide it toward what you’re trying to accomplish.
Unless you’ve actually tried, how can you give up? That’s what I tell myself whenever I end up “staring at a blank page”.

Tip: Take a peek at what your competitors are doing. Write down all of the thoughts that pop up while doing so. I’ve found it to help me immensely as a marketer.
The very thing that you’re reading right now is spontaneous. It’s my third take.
Here are the previous topics:
“What is this thing called neuromarketing?”
“Why consuming business books may slow down your progress”
I couldn’t make them interesting enough so I just saved them in my “second brain” (Obsidian.md) for future reference.
Granted, this may not be the simple idea tip you were expecting, but I’ve found it to work for me. Give it a try.
If you’re still blanking out, pull another straw and ask ChatGPT. Ask for 10 ideas, mix them together, and try the above again.
Avoid using AI as your first solution – I briefly covered why in a previous edition of my weekly newsletter: Consistency and lazy googling.
Not everything you produce is going to be extraordinary. Just like this edition (at least that’s how I feel like). 🤮
But extraordinary emerges from quantity.
Picasso is estimated to have completed more than 13 500 paintings and around 100 000 prints and engravings! And not every one of his paintings is known. But the best from this abundance stands out and is considered remarkable.
I’ll get there one day. And so will you! Keep it up.

What the fuck I’m up to?
We’re back in snowy Estonia. I never thought that I’d start missing snow. I spent an hour of the first morning here shoveling snow at my parent’s place. And I enjoyed the shit out of it. There’s something about breathing in clean cold air in the morning.
Sunday was the day when we moved into our 16th home in the past 9 years. Yeah, crazy. Luckily we all enjoy it to some extent. We’re now back in Tallinn. And I already miss playing padel.
Oh, the current Airbnb we’re staying at has an awesome monitor – I now want one. It’s awesome:

double trouble
And that’s a taco 🌮 ( and not a wrap). If you made it this far, thank you!
If you vibed with this newsletter, share it with one of your marketing buddies – someone you haven’t spoken with for a while – great ice breaker to catch up with them. 😏
